The people behind Bella
Erla is the founder of Bella Books and leads strategy and day-to-day operations. She brings broad experience from Deloitte and Búseti in finance and financial management, along with hands-on experience building and operating businesses in the Icelandic market. Erla knows first-hand how much manual work bookkeeping still involves, and she is working to simplify it with smart Icelandic technology.
Jói is co-founder of Bella Books and leads technical development. He has more than 30 years of experience in software development, including ten years in leadership roles at Google, and broad experience building B2B SaaS products in line with ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and HIPAA security, privacy and compliance standards.

We don't want bookkeepers, finance leaders, or business owners spending long hours on manual data entry and repetitive work. Bella Books is built to take that repetition off the bookkeeper's plate and free them to use their expertise to analyze and improve the business.
