She is especially well suited to medium-sized businesses that want to save time without switching accounting systems or losing control of their books. Bella handles complex vendor invoices that need to be split across multiple accounts and dimensions, and processes them together with their attachments. She can post to projects, items and inventory, and helps set up items and the rest of the structure that kind of bookkeeping needs.
Bella uses AI to read invoices, receipts, and transactions. She recognises vendors, accounts, dimensions, and VAT rules. She produces automatic posting suggestions based on historical patterns and rules you write in plain language, with our help if you need it.

Yes. Bella uses AI to read invoices from PDFs, email, scans, XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, or photos of documents, including handwritten ones. She extracts every key field, such as amount, date, vendor, and VAT. Bella automatically produces a posting suggestion for you to confirm before it is posted to your accounting system.
Yes. Bella learns from past transactions and from any corrections you make to her suggestions. Within a few days she understands your workflow: which accounts each cost goes to, how you classify ambiguous transactions, and which rules are unique to your company.
Bella reads paper receipts (photographed or scanned) alongside electronic invoices. You can also upload entire batches at once and Bella processes them automatically. Bella does not currently work with credit-card statements.
Yes. Each company gets its own Bella email address. Forward invoices there and Bella reads them automatically, classifies them, and queues them for approval. You can also photograph a receipt on your phone and send it to Bella with the Bella app, which you can add to your phone's home screen.
Bella suggests, then you confirm. If a suggestion is wrong, you correct it and Bella learns from that. When Bella is unsure, she flags the transaction “for review” and waits for you. You always have the final say.
